Settings
Project Data Sync - projects are stored in a Postgres database and served through /api/projects. Paste your Admin Key below (the same value you set as the ADMIN_KEY environment variable in Cloudflare Pages) - it's required to save or delete projects, and is checked on the server, not just in this browser.
Image/Video Uploads - the "Upload File" option in the project form commits files to your GitHub repo's images/ or videos/ folder so they have a public URL. This is separate from project data above. If you'd rather not use a browser-side GitHub token, just paste an image URL instead (Path/URL tabs) - this is optional.

Setup:
1. Go to github.com → Settings → Developer Settings → Personal Access Tokens → Tokens (classic)
2. Click Generate new token → tick repo scope → Generate
3. Copy the token and paste below. It never leaves your browser.

How it works: Export saves all your projects to a projects.json file on your computer.

When you receive an updated index.html with design changes, just open it and use Import to restore all your projects instantly - no re-uploading needed.

Tip: Keep your latest projects.json somewhere safe (Desktop, Google Drive) so you always have a backup.

Current Status
Client Portal
Add a client, then share their unique link with them - only they can see their own files. Files are stored in Google Drive - upload there first, set sharing to "Anyone with the link", then paste the link per file. Requires the backend endpoints /api/clients and /api/client-files to be deployed first (no Cloudflare storage/R2 needed).

Carving Dezine is a boutique design studio founded by Tanvi Shah - a designer with 15+ years of experience crafting thoughtful digital and brand experiences.

Built on one simple belief: great design should stop you in your tracks. Not because it looks good - but because it feels right.

Over the years Tanvi has partnered with startups, scale-ups and established organisations across India and globally. From Mobcast to ICICI Bank, UFO Movies to LifeLine Hospital - every project gets the same obsessive attention.

Do you work with clients remotely?
Yes - 100% of my work is remote. I work with clients across India and internationally through email, calls, and shared tools like Figma, Notion, and Google Drive. Time zone differences are never a problem.
What do you need from me to get started?
A brief explaining your project - what you need, who it's for, your timeline, and any references you like. The more context you give me, the better the outcome. I'll ask the right questions from there.
How many revisions are included?
Every project includes structured revision rounds - typically 2–3 rounds depending on scope. I prefer clear, consolidated feedback over scattered small changes. My goal is to get it right, not just done quickly.
What's your typical turnaround time?
It depends on the scope. A single presentation deck takes 3–5 days. A brand identity system takes 2–4 weeks. A full UX project can take 4–8 weeks. I'll give you a clear timeline before we start, and I stick to it.
Do you work with small businesses or startups?
Absolutely - some of my best work has been for early-stage startups and growing SMEs. Good design isn't just for big brands. If you have a real problem to solve, I want to hear about it.
What file formats will I receive?
All production-ready formats relevant to your project - AI, EPS, PDF, SVG, PNG, JPG, PPTX, PPTM, Figma files. You'll own everything. No locked files, no ongoing dependencies.
Can I hire you on a retainer basis?
Yes - the Retainer plan is built exactly for this: one flat monthly rate, unlimited requests, one at a time, pause or cancel anytime. Works well for brands that regularly need decks, marketing materials, or UI updates.
What's included in the Retainer?
Anything I do as a discipline - UX/UI, brand identity, presentation decks, or print collateral. Submit a request, I work on it until it's done, then move to the next one in your queue.
How many requests can I send at once?
As many as you like - they just queue up. I work one at a time so nothing gets rushed or split across five things at once.
Can I pause or cancel the Retainer?
Anytime, no lock-in. Pause when things go quiet, resume when they pick back up. You're only billed for active months.
I only need one thing done - do I need the Retainer?
No - that's exactly what the Project plan is for. Fixed scope, fixed price, one deliverable, done properly. The Retainer only makes sense if you expect a steady stream of requests.
Do you build the website, or just design it?
I design it - and for interactive/front-end work I hand-code it myself, the way this site is built. I don't work in Webflow or Framer, so if you specifically need a page-builder site, that's outside what I offer.
How does payment work?
Invoiced directly - Wise for international clients, UPI for India. No card details, no third-party checkout.
